Deadline for Submission: November 16, 2007
All special functions will be
scheduled at one of the headquarter
hotels. Organizers will be informed
of their room assignment in January
2008. The following guidelines must
be followed by all organizers
wishing to hold a meeting:

Organizers must ensure that the
primary objective of the Meeting
(the exchange of scientific
information) is preserved;

Organizers must encourage the
free flow of ideas and
information on any subject of
possible interest to our
membership consistent with
paragraph 1;
Procedures:
Experimental Biology Management
Office will assign available rooms
and facilities for special functions
at the headquarter hotel. Priority
will be given to those functions
which relate to scientific
scholarship, to the conduct of
research, and to public policy or
public information related to
science. Requests for facilities
for all other functions will be
handled in order of receipt. All
requests must be submitted to a
sponsoring society (see below for
contact information).

Title: The use of the
words “session,” “symposium,” and
“workshop” are not permitted. The
title will be listed in the program
exactly as you submit it on the
form.
Deadline: In order to
be listed in the program, requests
must be received by the deadline of November 16, 2007. They will be reviewed and
approved at the January meeting of
the Management Committee.
Signs and Notices: Advertising your event on official bulletin boards on-site at the Convention Center are to be no larger than 8 1/2" x 11" and can only be displayed in approved areas by the Sponsoring Society or by the Meeting Management Office. They must also meet the specifications of, and be approved by, the Meetings Manager. Please email eb@faseb.org with your sign proof. Sign easels will not be provided. The session chairperson will be requested not to announce ancillary functions unless the announcement has been approved by the Management Committee or by the Society responsible for the session.
Distribution of Materials: The distribution of handbills, fliers, or other literature is prohibited
Advertising of a Guest Society Meeting: Guest societies are not permitted to advertise their meeting without referencing the Experimental Biology Meeting. Guest societies must include in all of their printed material and on their Website (or any other Website) that they are meeting in conjunction with Experimental Biology
